Khotso is an outdoor basecamp in the Southern Drakensberg; a working lodge built around horses, trails, mountains, and the kind of travel that actually changes you.

 

For over two decades, we've been running horse trails, multi-day expeditions, and cross-border journeys into the remote highlands of Lesotho. Founded by adventurer Steve Black, Khotso has always carried a slightly wild, welcoming spirit shaped by the seasons, the land, and the people who pass through. 

 

Stay in the main lodge, a self-catering rondawel, the hand-built log cabin or the campsite along a stream. Come for the riding, the hiking, an event or just the mountains. You'll find your peace here quickly.
